This project was an exploration of Hebrew's type when put under extreme duress.
The result is a generative algorithm that creates variable Hebrew type whose width depends on the length of a user's keystroke.
Sample output from the Lettering Machine. Letters have varying widths depending on how long I help that specific key on the keyboard.
A demonstration of the machine in action.
Lettering Machine also made an appearance in an installation, in which it repeated the words of Israel's first Prime Minister.
