Lettering Machine
This project was an exploration of Hebrew's type when put under extreme duress.
The result is a generative algorithm that creates variable Hebrew type whose width depends on the length of a user's keystroke.
Sample output from the Lettering Machine. Letters have varying widths depending on how long I help that specific key on the keyboard.
A demonstration of the machine in action.
Lettering Machine also made an appearance in an installation as part of the exhibition
Eternity in 2016, in which it repeated the words of Israel's first Prime Minister.
